they say love doesnt expects returns,
but one sided love cant last.

they say love is a blessing,
but it causes the most heartbreaks.

they say you shouldnt look back,
but looking back is where you gain the most.

they say trust opens worlds for people,
yet it closes people's hearts when broken.

they say friendship makes you sing and dance,
yet it makes people drown in tears.

they say friends make you feel loved,
but it makes people feel unaccepted.

they say success is a reason to be happy,
yet people fall into pits trying to be successful.

they say happiness is easily attained,
yet people spend their whole lives searching for it.

they say love is a glimpse of paradise,
yet so many get tortured by it.

they say 'i love you' like they really mean it,
but yet so many hearts keep getting broken.

why is it life seems like one big lie?
